-requires a minimum entry score which may vary by service and occupation -is a test that can help you with educational and career planning -provides academic and occupational composite scores -is a three-hour exam -does not incur a military obligation -may be taken in 10th, 11th, or 12th grade Please use the link below for sample tests and information about the ASVAB (Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery) http://www.military.com/Recruiting/ASVAB/1,13387,,00.html The AFQT is comprised of your test results in Arithmetic Reasoning (AR), Math Knowledge (MK), and Verbal Composite (VE) x 2. Your Verbal Composite score is a combination of your Word Knowledge and Paragraph Comprehension scores.
