Junior High Choir
The junior high choir performs four times throughout the year (see calendar). Students learn proper vocal technique and improve their reading skills by performing a variety of music styles. Sixth grade students practice from 8:10 to 8:50. Band students sing in choir on Mondays and Thursdays while Choir Only students practice on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Seventh and eighth grade students are divided by gender so that more specific vocal training can promote healthy singing. We rehearse for a half hour between 9:35and 10:28. Choir only students meet on Mondays and Wednesdays. Band students meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Combined girl and boy groups practice on Fridays.
