Elementary General Music

Our goal for music is to have students more fully understand, appreciate, and perform a variety of music from different eras and areas of the world.

Students learn to sing, play, read, and create music through singing and playing rhythm instruments or xylophones.  Each year, the fourth grade class learns to play the recorder.  Students are then encouraged to join the band in fifth grade.  (For more information on band, visit Mrs. Kuklok's website.)
