Sing Out This Day (1-8)

(6-8)  Sing out this day, now lift up your voice.  Come hear the music, we loudly rejoice.

Alleluia! Lift your voice. Sing out together, sing out forever. Alleluia, sing, rejoice.

Alleluia, Alleluia!

(1-5, 6-8 Girls)  Welcome to all as we sing with delight.

Come, join the singing both day and night.  Sing out together, sing out forever.

Welcome to all as we sing with delight.  Welcome to all as we sing with delight.

(6-8)  Sing out this day, now lift up your voice.  Come hear the music, we loudly rejoice.

Alleluia! Lift your voice. Sing out together, sing out forever. Alleluia, sing, rejoice.

Alleluia, Alleluia!

He Never Failed Me Yet (1-8)

I will sing of God’s mercy, every day, every hour, He gives me power.

I will sing and give thanks to Thee for all the dangers, toils and snares that He has brought me out

He is my God, and I’ll serve Him, (no matter what the test).

Trust and never doubt, Jesus will surely bring you out, He never failed me yet. (repeat)

(Solo) I know God is able to deliver in time of storm.  I know that he’ll keep you

Safe from all earthly harm. One day when my weary soul is at rest,
I’m going home to be forever blest.  (all) Trust and never doubt, Jesus will surely bring you out,

He never failed me yet. (repeat first stanza)

(Solo) Didn’t my God deliver Moses from King Pharaoh? And didn’t He cool the fiery furnace

Of Shadrack, Meshack, and Abednego?  When I think of what my God can do,

He delivered Daniel, I know He can deliver you.  (all) Trust and never doubt, Jesus will surely

Bring you out, He never failed me yet.  (repeat first stanza)

Hush! Somebody’s Callin’ My Name (6-8 Boys)

Hush, hush, somebody’s callin’ my name.  Hush, somebody’s callin’ my name.

Hush, hush, somebody’s callin’ my name.  Oh my Lord, oh my Lord what shall I do?

I’m so glad that trouble don’t last always….

I’m so glad I got my ‘ligion in time…(Hallelujah Lord, O glory Lord)

Soon one mornin’ death come creepin’ in my room…

Inscription of Hope (6-8 Girls)

Oo… I believe in  the sun, even when it is not shining,

And I believe in love even when there’s no one there.

And I believe in God, even when He is silent.  I believe through any trial there is always a way.

But sometimes in this suffering and hopeless despair,

My heart cries for shelter to know someone’s there.

But a voice rises within me saying hold on my child.

I’ll give you strength, I’ll give you hope, just stay a little while.

Swing Low, Sweet Chariot (6-8)

Swing low, sweet chariot, comin’ for to carry me home.

Swing low, sweet chariot, comin’ for to carry me home.

I looked over Jordan and what did I see, comin’ for to carry me home.

A band of angels comin’ after me, comin’ for to carry me home. (refrain)

If you get there before I do, comin’ for to carry me home.

Just tell my friends I’m comin’ home too.

Swing low, sweet chariot, comin’ for to carry me home.  Swing low, sweet chariot,

Comin’ for to carry me, comin’ for to carry me, comin’ for to carry me  - home.

Comin’ for to carry me home.

This Land Is Your Land (1-2)

This land is your land, this land is my land, from California to the New York island,

From the redwood forest, to the Gulf Stream waters, this land is made for you and me.

As I was walking that ribbon of highway, I saw above me that endless skyway.

I saw below me that golden valley, this land was made for you and me. (refrain)

I’ve roamed and rambled and I followed my footsteps to the sparkling sands of her diamond deserts,

And all around me a voice was sounding, this land was made for you and me. (refrain)

When the sun comes shining and I was strolling and the wheat fields waving and the dust clouds rolling,

As the fog was lifting a voice was chanting, this land was made for you and me.  (refrain)

This Little Light of Mine (1-2)

This little light of mine, I’m gonna let it shine.  This little light of mine, I’m gonna let it shine.

This little light of mine, I’m gonna let it shine, let it shine, let it shine, let it …. Shine.

This little light of mine, I’m gonna let it shine…

Hide it under a bushel, No!...

Don’t let anyone blow it our…

Let it shine til Jesus comes… (or) Hold it over….

Simple Gifts (3-5)

Tis the gift to be simple, tis the gift to be free, tis the gift to come down where you ought to be,

And when we find ourselves in the place just right, twill be in the valley of love and delight.

When true simplicity is gained, to bow and to bend we shant be ashamed.

To turn, turn, will be our delight, till by turning, turning we come round right.

Accentuate the Positive (3-5)

You’ve got to accentuate the positive, eliminate the negative, latch on to the affirmative.

Don’t mess with Mister In Between.  You’ve got to spread joy up to the maximum,

Bring gloom down to the minimum, have faith or pandemonium liable to walk up on the scene.

To illustrate my last remark Jonah in the whale, Noah in the ark.
What did they do just when everything looked so dark?  “Man,” the said,”we better

Accentuate the positive, eliminate the negative, latch on to the affirmative.

Don’t mess with Mr. In Between.
