   Welcome to Mrs. Norris's 7th grade English

As your students begin the transition from grade school to junior high,

they are certain to experience a year of profound growth.  

Some will meet the challenges that middle school brings with ease and grace,

 while others may need more time and patience to guide them on their way.

Together, we will work towards mastering the academic goals and

standards of 7th grade English: grammar conventions, writing, reading comprehension

 and vocabulary.  My continued goal is to go beyond the published

 standards and create an atmosphere where your students

feel empowered, confident, and inspired to reach for their true potential.  

No two students travel the same path to success; please help me to support

 your child on a journey to greatness!
