Mrs. Jaffe Personal Info As a child, I grew up on a farm in Michigan. I dealt with many animals and farm chores, even though my father wasn't a farmer. He'd lease the land to people who needed the space for animals or storage of crops that were harvested on the property. My formative education was spent at Sacred Heart Academy in Mt. pleasant Michigan. I spent all twelve years of my schooling there, considering the Academy was a high school and a grade school, and graduated in 1965. I graduated from the Central Michigan University in 1971, married in 1973, and then moved to a new state with a new address, Indiana. Upon arriving in Indiana, I very quickly started substituting for IPS, Perry Township, and the South Deanery Schools. In 1974, I accepted a permanent teaching job at St. Barnabas. I enrolled at IUPUI in 1975, where I earned a Masters Degree in Education. My life's journey has produced a loving husband, one adorable daughter-in-law, two handsome sons, one handsome son-in-law, one beautiful daughter, one granddaughter , and a grandson.(both red heads soooooo cute) I have had a very enjoyable teaching career. Life has been good to me. I truly have been blessed.
