- READING CLUB
Please encourage your child to read Middlebury books and report on them any morning before school.

What's Happening in the Classroom?
Language Arts:
Reading: We will be reading from leveled books and "StoryWorks"
This week we will focus on:
- decoding multi-syllablic words
- plural nouns
- writing summaries
***No vocabulary or spelling words until after Thanksgiving break
Math:
unit: "Equal Groups"
- Solving picture problems and strategies using multiplication
- subtraction review
MATH FACTS: Students need to know the facts quickly, they will be taking more time to answer the facts quiz problems as they get into the higher addends.
Social Studies
Our Economics unit starts next week. We will be creating our own company from the bottom up!

Donations needed
We will be making a special harvest treat on Wednesday. If you would like to donate any of the following items, it would be greatly appreciated! Items will need to be delivered to school on Monday or Tuesday of next week.
The items we need are:
*Bugles corn snacks *pretzels
*goldfish crackers *raisins
*sunflower seeds *peanuts *Hershey's kisses *m&m's
*Wheat, Rice or Corn Chex cereal
