Key to our success is parent involvement and volunteering. To encourage more volunteers at Millard; we will implement The Millard Volunteer Program “Passport to Success”. Parents can get their Passports stamped every time they volunteer which will earn their students quarterly prizes; more info to follow.

One big change to PTA this year comes in the way we will conduct our major fundraising event. Based on the responses from our fundraising survey, we will use a 100% direct donation event rather than catalog sales. This means Millard we keep all the money raised rather than the 40 to 50% kept from catalog sales. You give $10, Millard gets $10 not $5; give $50, it all goes to Millard PTA. There will still be rewards built into the event to acknowledge those students and classrooms that do a great job in raising funds for Millard.

Another great change; Ms. Creps in room 3 will be providing child care so more parents can attend PTA meetings. Stay involved by attending PTA meetings the fourth Tuesday of each month.
