Millard PTA Mission		President's Vision
The mission of Millard PTA is to support the Millard school community (students, parents and staff) in achieving academic success for our children; to promote their physical, social and emotional wellbeing; to raise funds in support of instructional and character building programs; to promote a partnership of involvement and to have fun in the process.		Millard PTA will become an example of excellence in creating partnerships which have a highly successful impact on Millard students’ academic success and character development while creating memories that will last a lifetime.

Next PTA Meetings: Tuesday, July 28th and August 25 at 6:30pm location TBD. Key topics: Review Mission statement and adjust/change as necessary; set 2009-10 annual goals, set Fall Fundraiser Campaign Stategy, set calendar of 2009-10 events, and design membership campaign. We will also be working on a volunteer passport system.

•June 9, meeting results: Reviewed fundraiser survey results and approved committe recommendation for a 100%, direct-donation fundraising campaign for this fall. No catalog sales. Installed new board members.

Committees now forming for 2009-10 School year: Over the next 2 months chairs and their committees will be planning for the new school year. This is your opportunity to be part of the planning process. Committees forming are; Fall Fundraiser: Chair Valorie Wagner; Membership: Chair Laurie Renish; Start of School Communications: Chair Robert Lee. If you are interested in being on any of these committees, please send an email to millard_pres@yahoo.com with your contact information.

Yearbooks distributed on June 10th.
A very limited quantity will be for sale after school for $20 cash on a first come first serve basis.
