Reading -  "Two Bad Ants".    Test May 16.  We will be reading other stories and composing some poetry.  There is a great site with a lot of ways to review our story - on Google, search "Mrs Peters classroom _____________ "  (fill in whatever story we are on).  It has great was to review the story and spelling words with your child.

Grammar:   Combining sentences and working with commas.

Spelling/phonics:  Multisyllabic words.  Most of the words can be spelled much easier if broken into smaller syllables or by removing the prefixes and suffixes.  Test 5/16

Math: .   Plotting order pairs on a graph, practice dividing a two digit number by a single digit number.  Students should know ALL the multiplication facts. **  Keep practicing for quick recall!

Science:  Household poisons

Religion: Prayers of the Month:  prayers of the rosary    Describe the events of the Light Mysteries; review all the Mysteries of the rosary; describe the miracles in Fatima and Guadalupe; learn about the life of St. Bernadette; complete the rosary booklet.

Social Studies:  Understand how people work from home, understand how technology affects how people live their lives, and work in Japan, and tradition, and technology in farming.
