Mission Statement

Physical Education plays an integral part in your child’s total education here at St. Louis.  We strive to provide the students with fun, and meaningful experiences.  Through exposure to a wide variety of activities and sports, students will gain the necessary knowledge to understand the importance of achieving and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.  Social skills which include respect, teamwork, and sportsmanship are important parts of the Physical Education program and will be directly taught throughout the student’s school career.

"Today's quality physical education programs are important because they provide learning experiences that meet the developmental needs of youngsters which help improve a child's mental alertness, academic performance, readiness to learn and enthusiasm for learning" (National Association for Sport & Physical Education - NASPE).
