  Dear Parents,

       We will celebrate Valentine's Day on Tuesday, February 14th.  Students are asked to bring in a Valentine for each classmate and a decorated box or bag to hold their own Valentine's.  There will be a contest for the best "mailbox".

      Don't forget that we will not have school on Friday, February 17 or Monday, February 20 in celebration of President's Day.  I hope everyone has a restful four day weekend!

       The CTP4 tests will be held Monday, February 27 through Thursday, March 1, 2012.  We have been preparing for these tests with analogy and comprehension practice.  The students will review punctuation and capitalization over the next two weeks.  During this week, we will have light homework.  Students will need plenty of sleep and are asked to bring a healthy snack.

               Please continue to check your child's planner nightly.  If you feel your child has written incomplete information, you may check the website under individual subjects for a tab labeled "Homework". I will update the homework daily and the website weekly.  Please check the "Month at a Glance" calendar often for updated quiz, test, and project assignment dates.
