Please refer to this site for old, current, and new Fitness Logs! 

 If you are not able to print it out please see me and I will be able print it out for you.

Please do not see come and see me the day the fitness log is due!

It is your responsibility to make up any missing fitness runs/activities on your time.

Fit Points

Each class period we will do a Fitness Activity that will earn you Fit Points based on the criteria that you meet for that

activity.  Here are a couple of examples of earning Fit Points:

 

FM 5 (Fitness Medley 5) time requirements for Fit Points.

 

                        Student Time            0:00      -     17:00                 4 Fit Points (A Work)

                        Student Time            17:01     -     20:00                3 Fit Points (B Work)

                        Student Time            20:01     -     23:00                2 Fit Points (C Work)

                        Student Time            23:01     -     24:00                1 Fit Point   (D Work) **

Pacer Test

 

                        Student Score                      25  or more              4 Fit Points (A work)

                        Student Score                      20  to 25                 3 Fit Points (B work)

                        Student Score                      15  to 19                  2 Fit Points (C work)

                        Student Score                      10  or 14                  1 Fit Point   (D work)**

 

                        **If you earn a D or below you run the risk of having to do the work again in class or during a make up at lunch!  It is always a good idea to give your best effort in class daily!**

 

Continuous Improvement

The goal is for you to continuously improve your level of fitness.  Each Fitness Activity will have a different time/score requirement.  Some requirements will be easy, some will be difficult, sometimes every student will earn a 4, and sometimes you will determine your own requirements.  The time/score requirements start out easy and get more difficult as time goes on.  You will need to take responsibility for your fitness level to keep you with the changing requirements.

 

Fitness Grade

At the end of each month, you will earn a fitness grade based on the total number of Fit Points you have earned when compared to the total number of Fit Points possible for that month.  The total number of Fit Points will vary slightly from month to month depending on the number of days we meet in class for that particular month.

 

Expectations:         

                    Give your best effort every day in class

                 Have a positive attitude and stay on task as you do your Fitness Activity

                 Attend a lunchtime make up workout if you are absent or have a note

     Take responsibility for your fitness and participate in fitness activities outside of class.  Strive to continuously improve!
