Course Description: This course falls under the Business Marketing Education Program. The objective of Alabama Business/Marketing Education is to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary for economic success in the twenty-first century. This dynamic and challenging program prepares students for the accelerated changes taking place in the competitive business world.
As students gain knowledge and professional experiences, they develop skills essential for success and build a strong foundation that enables them to become productive workers and citizens.
The following courses are offered to students at RMS:- Career Tech Exploratory - available to 6th graders for a period of 9-weeks.
- Computer Essentials - available to 7th graders for a period of one semester
- Business Technology Applications - available for 8th graders for a period of one full year
Special Note: Upon successful completion, 8th grade students enrolled in the Business Technology Applications (BTA) course, will have met the technology requirements for high school graduation! Required Course Materials:- Black or blue ink pen
