Sandra Tuley

Sandra Tuley enjoys teaching second grade mathematics in the lower school math lab, a position she has held since 1998. Immediately prior to teaching at St. Francis, she was a full-time mom to two sons, now ages 18 and 22. Both boys are graduates of St. Francis. She has also worked as a policy analyst for a child advocacy organization, a staff trainer for the Kentucky Cabinet for Human Resources, and an elementary classroom teacher in St. Louis.

Ms. Tuley received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education from Northeast Missouri State University, now Truman State University, in 1970, and a Master of Education Degree in Educational Psychology from the University of Louisville in 1977. In 1997 she returned to the University of Louisville to update her education by taking graduate level courses in methods of teaching elementary mathematics. She lives in Prospect with her husband, Neil Weiner. Her hobbies include walking, hiking, gardening, reading, and writing.
