Welcome to 2nd grade math!  We will be learning lots of exciting things this year.  I hope you are ready to go!

We are currently working on Place Value.  Why do numbers mean what they mean?  Why do we write them the way we do?  How do we compare and order numbers?  All of these ideas are in preparation for adding and subtracting 2-digit numbers - regrouping is on the way!
