Veteran's Day On November 11, 2008 Mark DeLay School was honored by a visit from Mr. Provenzano who is the father of two of our second grade students. Mr. Provenzano is an army medic. He was in Afganistan for nine months. He showed the students a slideshow of pictures of where he lived and the people he cared for while stationed in Afganistan. He brought some of the clothing that is worn in Afganistan and some parachute gear. Some of the students got to try it on. At the end of his presentation there was a question and answer session.
