FIELD DAY JUNE 5, 2009 Field Day will be held on Friday, June 5, 2009. Parents are welcome and invited to come and cheer on the students. The whole school is divided into red and white teams. Students should wear to school a shirt for the color of their team. The festivities will begin at 9:15 a.m. followed by the day’s events. Parents and guests who wish to attend the opening ceremonies are requested to sit in the blacktop area reserved for spectators. Attached is a schedule of the day’s events for each grade level. The fourth grade kickball game will take place at approximately 1:45 P.M. on the softball fields in back of the school. Closing ceremonies will be at 3:00 P.M. At this time the Field Day winning team will be announced. Sparke students must remain with their teachers until the close of the school day. No students will be dismissed from the field. Students will return to their classrooms and be dismissed as usual. In case of inclement weather, Field Day will be rescheduled Thursday, June 11, 2009.
