Ms. Amenta 6th Grade Math/Science

I am back! I returned Monday, May 21 to finish the school year.  I have missed my students and profession.  I am happy to be able to see the students finish the school year.  It is always a treat as a sixth grade teacher to watch the growth of the students. The majority of the students start the year apprehensive and a little afraid.  Now they are confident and ready to move up to 7th grade. 

Thank you to Mrs. De La Rosa who did an outstanding job stepping in for 8 weeks.  Substitute teaching is very challenging and Mrs. De La Rosa made it look easy and fun.  Her experience with the curriculum made for awesome, creative lessons that our students benefited from.  If you see her in the community, be sure to give her a big thank you.  She deserves our appreciation.
