Family Science Night: Coming up on January 19, 2012! Any of Ms. Johnson or Ms. Heffernan's students who show up will receive some last minute extra credit! The Museum of Discovery and Science is bringing hands on materials and activities. It will be a great learning experience! Any parents who are willing to volunteer please email Ms. Heffernan!

Broward eTutor also offers practice tests available online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

The Brain Power Club can no longer accommodate siblings. We do not have the space, materials or permission to have these additional students.

You can now order books from scholastic online. When you look for these books, you can find out the AR levels of the book. They will be shipped to the school and are your child's to keep. Our class gets credits to order free books whenever you place an online order! Click on the Scholastic Letter for Parents on the bottom of this page. (This letter will also be in the Friday Folders. This program is only available if you order the books for your child online.)
_______________________________________ We understand that illness happens. This year we are on a very tight schedule during our day. If at all possible, please be sure that your child is in school. Making up work will be difficult for the children and we do not want to stress them any more than necessary. Thank you for your help with this! :)

This year it will be more important than ever for your child to have access to a computer at home. If you do not have one, you might consider buying one. If you are unable to purchase one, make sure your child will be able to get to the library or another location where they can use one. Everything for our new math series will be located on line (some things will be in print also), as well as three different internet programs that can help your child understand the concepts better.

For the 2011-12 school year, parents will be able to access this site and get ongoing information about projects, schoolwork, homework, field trips and more. Students will be able to access pages they forgot, find out about assignments, find links to awesome sites to try out at home, completely organize their school related information and other things. Hopefully students will use this site to take responsibility for their own learning.
