Nursery School & Afternoon Enrichment

Nursery School focuses on social, educational, emotional and physical growth in a positive and nurturing environment.

The curriculum for children 2 and 3 years old emphasizes social development and cognitive achievement. Our teachers will introduce the building blocks of learning and help each child learn more about the world, themselves and each other.

The curriculum for children 4 years old focuses on kindergarten readiness and social and emotional growth. Our teachers will instruct each child in the disciplines of Math, English and Science. Our teachers will forward socialization skills among the students by showing the group how to share and how to work together in order to accomplish a common objective.

Our curriculum incorporates special programs in safety, fire prevention, animal awareness, music, dance, and library and educational programs. Also, our curriculum is enhanced with arts & crafts, theatre, story-telling, languages and social development, computer games, cooking, indoor & outdoor play and much more!

Afternoon Enrichment begins directly after lunch. The program focuses on socialization, creativity and fun. The children have free play, story and rest time and a special activity, such as an arts & crafts project, group game and/or special event.

Our Nursery School is licensed by the Pennsylvania Department of Education and the Department of Public Welfare.
