Rosebreasted grosbeak

We are blessed with an abundance of different birds to the feeders hanging outside our classroom windows.  Many of these birds are year-round residents and visit often. Some however, we assume visit during their migration.  Whatever the reason, we love to see them and watch them.  Below is a list of the birds we have seen thus far in the past few years:

Blue Jays

Cardinals

Chickadees

Tufted Titmice

Gray Catbirds

White-breasted Nuthatches

A variety of Sparrows

Rose-breasted Grosbeaks

Evening Grosbeaks

Baltimore Orioles

Downy Woodpeckers

Hairy Woodpeckers

Red-bellied Woodpeckers

A Pileated Woodpecker (He came only once ... we hope he comes again!)

Ruby-throated Hummingbirds
