Dear Parents, I'm so proud to announce our Tomb of Doom Children's Museum Art Contest Winners. The Museum received 4,000 entries from schools across Indianapolis and only selected 30 students as winners of the competition. I'm so proud to announce Saint Barnabas School had 10 winners this year! The winners are as follows: Kindergarten: Second Place, Natalie Mullin First Grade: Finalists - Sara Richardson and Miles Mundy Second Grade: Finalists - Katie Rushka Third Grade: Honorable Mentions - Liam Warner Fourth Grade: Finalists - Nicholas Ramos Fifth Grade: Honorable Mentions - Peter Ralston, Finalist - Reesie LaRosa The following student's artwork will be displayed at The Great Frame UP at 612 N. Delaware, Indianapolis, IN 46204 - Lily Miller Here is a listing of prizes offered: The Honorable Mention artist will receive two complimentary tickets to this year’s “Tomb of Doom” Haunted House. First, second and third place student artists are invited, along with one parent or friend, to be our guests at the Haunted House Preview Party on Friday, October 9th, at 6 p.m. at The Children’s Museum. They will be recognized at the Art Contest Award Ceremony at 6:45 p.m., during the Preview Party, in the Museum’s Lilly Theatre, located on Level One. Tickets will be mailed to your school for distribution to the students. The Preview Party is a fun-fill evening that includes tours of the Haunted House, a costume contest, craft tables, games and refreshments. Additional Preview Party tickets may be purchased through the Children’s Museum Box Office for $12/each, or you may call 334-3322 to purchase additional tickets. The winning and finalist entries will be on display at the Children’s Museum from October 9th through the 31st. The Haunted House will be open from October 16th through the 31st.
