Our Class Expectations

Classroom Expectations All students are expected to behave in a way that does not create a problem for himself/herself, other students, and teachers. Each student will.. -
keep hands, feet, and other objects to himself/herself, -
be on time and prepared for class (this includes homework and supplies), -
use appropriate language for school, -
take turns and be polite to all students, teachers, and visitors, -
follow all directions given by adults. Consequences Students who do not follow these expectations, including not turning in assignments on time, may earn consequences such as: -
lose of privileges like eating outside, -
restricted recess, -
student and teacher conference, -
after-school detention, -
Saturday school, -
discipline referral Citizenship Grade: Repeatedly not meeting these expectations and severe behavior will earn "signs" on his/her discipline sheet to show when these expectations have not been followed. Each Tuesday, the student will take home his/her discipline sheet in the Tuesday Folder for the parents to review and sign. Signs = Grade per 6 Weeks 0 = 100 1 - 2 = 95 3 - 5 = 85 6 - 8 = 75 9 - up = 64 Office Referral may = 10 pt. drop in grade Late assignments = 5 pt. drop in grade
