Students are required to write PSO’s each quarter.  The number is determined based on your class level.

Theatre I                         One per quarter

Theatre II                        One per quarter (1st Semester)

Theatre II                        Two per quarter (2nd Semester)

Theatre III                       Two per quarter

Theatre IV                       Four per Quarter

Tech I-IV                        One per Quarter

*All plays must be full length with a minimum of 2 acts.

You may not use the following plays:

Romeo and Juliet                                The Crucible

Midsummer Night’s Dream                Medea

Othello                                                Tartuffe

As You Like It                                     A Raisin in the Sun

Macbeth                                             Antigone

Juliius Ceasar                                    Electra

Hamlet                                               Oedipus the King

Lysistrata                                           A Doll’s House                                   

Death of a Salesman                          Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead

YOU MAY NOT READ THE FOLLOWING AS WELL:

Any play read in English Classes

Any CHS past productions – they are on the wall in the classroom

Any One Acts or One Act Collections

*Students turning in any of the above will receive a 0.  PSO’s are worth 50 points each.

STUDENTS MAY NOT PICK A MUSICAL PLAY UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED. 

*Due dates for PSO’s will be posted on the website calendar.

*Students are required to explore different genres, time periods, and authors for each PSO.

*Students with 2 or less missing or late assignments may turn in 1 extra PSO for extra credit worth up to 25 points per quarter.

*Students will use www.turnitin.com to turn in all PSO’s.

NO PSO will be accepted if it is not turned in to www.turnitin.com
