Technical Theatre students are responsible for the production work on all school events and productions in the theater.

Students are taught throughout the year all technical aspects of the Theatre and production.  Students will go through the basic fundamentals of Safety, Lighting, Sound, Costumes, Make-up, Stage Management, Construction, Painting, Rigging and other aspects of production.

Students are required to obtain hours working on various productions throughout the year.  The amount of hours vary depending on the course level.  Students will often work on Saturdays during major productions.  These tech calls are in addition to their required hours.

There is a course fee at the beginning of the year to cover the cost of a uniform shirt and several materials used in the first semester.  All students must pass a mandatory safety test and tool certification to remain in the class.

There is a $30 course fee per year.
