This year I am starting my 7th year getting ready for a new crop of second graders. I have taught 2nd grade each and every year and love it! It is so inspiring to see young minds learn and grow each day. I am very lucky to have the opportunity to work with amazing children!

Hometown: Parnell, Iowa- I graduated from Williamsburg High School

Degrees: Kirkwood Community College- AAS-Occupational Therapy Assistant

             Mount Mercy College BS- Elementary Education

             Coe College MA- Teaching

Teaching Experience: This is my sixth year teaching second grade at Norway Elementary

Family: Husband-John  Sons: Gavin and Brayden Step Daughters: Holley and Alyx

Intrests: Spending time with my family, Reading, shopping, cooking, organizing
