Grading Rules

100 - 90 = A

89 - 80  = B

79 - 70  = C

69 - 60  = D

59 - 0   = F

Please note:  If a child completed an assignment but made a D or F on it, he or she may choose to turn in the poorly done paper and start the assignment over, redoing it for the higher of the two grades.  Turn it in the following day with the word "Redo" at the top.

Some of the symbols that you may come in contact with on Parent Connect are as follows:

Excused = grade is excused and is not given a grade

OP = Optional grade, if OP was given student chose not to complete assignment

CH = Cheating on assignment and result is a 0.

Z = ZAP which is held after school on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday to make up any work that was not turned in. The result is a 60.

G = Gate, result in an excused grade
