Welcome to 5th Grade!

Fifth grade is an exciting and challenging year.  Switching classes for the first time, having recess for the last time, CYO basketball, new friendships, more responsibilities, more independence and tons of fun. 

As a fifth grade teacher, it is always amazing to watch how much my students grow into their own in just the few short months between September and June.

The school theme for September is "Friendship and Respect".  In our classroom, friendship and respect for eachother is not just a monthly theme, but a yearly goal.  Tolerance, acceptance and thinking before making choices are life lessons that need to begin early.

I am looking forward to the new school year with great anticipation and getting to know each of my new students.
