Hello Grade 5, Happy Fall!! Halloween is over. Upon return to school on Monday, we will already being sliding into the month of November. The New York Social Studies State test will be administered on Monday, November 16th and Tuesday, November 17th. All three fifth grades will be taking the test in the school cafeteria at the same time. The test will run from 8:15 to 10:30 on both mornings. We will be spending time in S.S. class reviewing and preparing for the test as well as learning how to write an essay based on historical documents, (D.B.Q.). Please be sure your child is well rested and has had a good breakfast. It is also important that every student is in school on time. All students will need the following supplies: 3 #2 pencils (sharpened), a highlighter, a black or blue pen a ruler and free read book. Wish us Luck! - Mrs. Behm
