Second Quarter Emphasis

During last quarter, the emphasis of our Computer Literature class was on learning to key all 26 letters of the alphabet as well as punctuation and function keys.  Accuracy was the focus.

This quarter we will focus on creating documents and building speed.  The requirement for Nevada State High School Graduation is:

Nevada State Computer Standard 1.8

The student will demonstrate correct keyboarding techniques with a minimum speed of 20 – 30 WPM and accuracy of no more than 2 errors on three two minute timed tests.

Students who did not complete lessons 1 – 15 are behind and will need to work at home to be sure they know the location of all letters on the keyboard.
