Parent Link Update

A note regarding ParentLink:

1.  We cannot get rid of the "Due Date" column.  Dates given are not due dates, but rather the date the assignment was entered into the computer grade book.  Inasmuch as students are allowed to progress through each lesson at their own pace, blocks of assignments are entered at one time.  You may see a blank instead of a grade.  This indicates that while some students may be working ahead, that particular lesson is not expected to be completed at this time.  If a "mi - F" appears it indicates that your student has not turned in an assignment that should easily have been completed at this time.  He/she may need to come to Open Lab to catch up.

2.  There is a time lapse between when your student signs the clipboard to have a keyboarding lesson graded and when it is posted on ParentLink.  Our old Intouch System posted an upload date, ParentLink unfortunately does not.  All graded assignments are returned to the student for your review.
