School-Wide Tardy Policy

SCHOOL-WIDE TARDY POLICY

We strictly observe the “Start On Time” tardy program. Every period begins with a tardy sweep.  Students outside the classroom when the bell rings will report to the tardy room and receive the consequences outlined in the Deans’ Office.

• 1^st tardy: Warning
• 2^nd tardy:  Deans’ Detention, Phone call home
• 3^rd & 4^th Tardy:  RPC-Tardy (Parent must sign-in the student before beginning the school day or the student will have In-House Suspension for the remainder of the day with an RPC issued for the following day.)
• 5^th Tardy:  RPC
• 6^th Tardy or more: Suspension

District policy states that tardiness of 30 minutes or more in a class period is deemed an absence.
