Behavior Expectations Behavior Expectations

Each student is expected to behave in a respectful and positive manner toward each other.  Disruptive or disrespectful behavior will result in loss of participation points, parent conferences/contacts, dean referrals or other consequences depending upon the situation.

Please remember that tardies disrupt the class and the teacher.  A student is considered tardy when not in his/her assigned chair when the bell rings.  Tardy students must complete a tardy slip to avoid being marked as absent for the day.  Tardies later than 30 minutes will be counted as an absence.

CITIZENSHIP:

A student’s citizenship grade is determined by his/her demonstration of responsibility by being on time for class, attending to task, completing required work, and keeping a positive attitude toward peers and adults.  Students will begin each week with full participation points.  Should disruptions occur, participation points will be subtracted.  The following grading criteria will be implemented:

O         Outstanding                              90%

S          Satisfactory                              70%

N         Needs Improvement                 60%

U         Unsatisfactory                           50%.
