WELCOME TO MUSIC COMPOSITION
The 7th grade composers are learning some basics. We are creating songs, learning differents ways to combine notes and rests. We are adding things such as glissando, staccato, accents, fermata, trills and crescendos to our song. Then we will learn to creat patterns: melody patterns, rhythm patterns, ABA songs, ABACA songs, and variations on a theme.
The 8th graders are learning to add repeat signs, volume expressions and tempo expressions. We are also going to learn to add different kinds of chords to our songs. We'll write songs in different keys.
