All About Me

My name is Josie Perry.  I am a social studies teacher at Rising Sun High School.  I teach Government, U.S. History, and Contemporary World Studies.  Also, I am an online teacher for the Appropriate Assistance Program.  This is my eleventh year teaching with Cecil County Public Schools. 

I graduated from Rising Sun High School in 1995.  I attended Salisbury State University and earned a degree in History-Secondary Education with a minor in Social Studies.  I earned my masters in School Counseling from Wilmington College in 2002.  I am a National Board of Professional Teaching Standards-certified teacher in Adolescent-Young Adulthood History-Social Studies.  I recently completed my Administration I Certification with McDaniel College.

My husband, Tom, and I have 4 1/2-year-old twins, Keegan and Kaitlin.  They are very active and keep us extremely busy.  Free time is fun time with the babes.  We like going to the zoo, Dutch Wonderland, the aquarium, and the beach.  We spent the summer taking day trips to the beach, aquarium, or the zoos.  Life is Good :)
