Each week a different student will be chosen to be our star student. You can find your child's scheduled week on the Shining Star Schedule below and in the weekly newsletter.Your child will take home a piece of white poster board with the due date written on the back. In the center of the board please have your child's name written or pasted on the poster board horizontally. Please send in labeled photos, awards, magazine clippings...also mounted horizontally on the poster board and items for the counter below the board. These two things will decorate your child's Star Student area. (Please see the teacher's samples to get an idea of how to do it.) On Friday they will have an opportunity to share their bulletin board and items with the class and their classmates will write them a letter. The poster board will come home at the end of the school year. Please get very creative and have lots of fun. This is your child's week to shine!
