SECOND GRADE BOOKLIST...             

Each student will be responsible for a monthly book report. Please follow guidelines for each report. The books read should be from the AR List posted on the Overbrook website. AR tests will count for 5% of the total reading grade.

Ms. Griffin will be helping the children with selections in the library. The classroom library also has books available for the children.

Students may check out books that are not AR for reading practice and entertainment.

The second graders will be challenged to read 100 books or 100 chapters by the hundredth day of school. The children will be given forms to record individual progress the first full week of school.
