Every student is unique and has special needs.  Many students develop appropriate academic, social-emotional and physical coping mechanisms.  However, many others may need a helping hand.  Below are a few resources that can help educators pinpoint a student's specific areas of need.  

Child Study Team (CST) / School Based Intervention Team (S-BIT) 

Tier 1 Resources - In time the S-BIT team hopes to work with teachers to develop a resource binder.  The binder will contain a variety of academic, social and physical intervention resources to aid students once specific areas of need are identified.  Hopefully this will help get the students back on track before they get so far behind more intensive interventions are needed.

• Behavior Resources - in the files section below is a sample Behavior Charting Process.  These forms will walk you thru Initial Off-Task Behavior Observations and/or ABC Data Collection.  Once these observations are complete an appropriate intervention can be developed and it's effectivness gauged.

• Once less intensive interventions have proven ineffective educators are encouraged to refer students to the CST or S-BIT.  See the files section below for referral forms.
