Bullying is a problem all schools struggle confront.  Here at Little Falls we utilize a number of different approaches to combat this all too common problem.  Below are a number of direct links to a website run by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Resources.  The site offers a variety of great resources for kids and adults.  Once you learn more about what bullying is, come back to this site to learn more about what we are doing here at Little Falls.

What is the Little Falls City School District doing to combat bullying?

• In the Middle School we will be working with the YWCA and the County to offer two Olweus based bully prevention training programs.
• Our School Counselor offers
  • Conflict mediation for early intervention
  • Bully support groups for building student support network.  These groups also help us identify students and locations where bullying is happening most.  
  • Brief Solution Focused Counseling to both bullies and victims
• Green Dots - We have teachers who are always available to students in need, just look for the green dots.
