Character Education » HS Community Service Graduation Requirement In the spring of 2007 the Board of Education approved a graduation requirement of 30 community service hours. This applies to all current Madison Students in grades 9-12. Seniors in the class of 2008 will be phased in, with only a 15 hour requirement. In addition, the board is currently discussing a special diploma designation for students who participate in over 125 hours in the four years preceding their graduation. If you have opinions be sure to voice them to the board. How to give back - Over the coming months this site will grow to help students fulfill this requirement.
