My name is Jacqueline Brown and I am finishing up my third year at Buffalo State College. I am majoring in Early Childhood and Childhood Education and hope to teach kindergarten one day. It has been a very overwhelming experience so far and it seems to be only the beginning! However, I am confident that through the rest of my courses and experiences in the classroom, I will eventually reach my goal. I hope this blog will help me communicate with others who are sharing the same experiences!

What an overwhelming, complex, and exciting college experience this has been so far! Honestly, I never thought that majoring in Elementary Education would be this hard. But it is, and I am surviving it day by day! There are so many different things to do on the road to become a teacher and so many different things to accomplish when we actually DO become teachers! I will be going to the EDU311 orientation next week and I have no clue what to expect. If you have any information you would like to share about the orientation or the course itself, feel free to comment! Just please don't make it sound negative or scary, I'm already anxious enough!
