About Mrs. Berry

 My name is Julie Berry and I teach sixth grade math on the Six East Stars team. I am a native born Texan and of course, very proud of that !! I am married to Thomas Berry and have two daughters- Valorey-13 and Hope-8.

I also have a cat named Mysti who thinks she is a queen!!!!

I graduated high school in 1987 from Hamshire-Fannett High School and graduated college in 1991 from Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas. We have spent most of our adult lives in the state of Oklahoma because my husband was active duty Air Force from 1988-1997. Most of that time we were stationed in Altus, Oklahoma. We did move back home for a year or so ,but then my husband took a civil service position back at Altus Air Force Base. In 2000 we then moved to Mustang where he now works full time for the Oklahoma Air National Guard as a Flight Chief, and I teach- of course!! Oklahoma has definitely become a home for us and we look forward to raising our children here.

My hobbies are sports, politics, and having fun with friends. I am an avid Dallas Cowboy fan and how I feel on Mondays depends on how they did on Sunday!! Just kidding- Since all of the kids ask me OU or OSU-well I just say that I cheer for OU more-  Gets me in some trouble with many of them! I can't wait to meet all of you and find out your likes and dislikes- makes it so much more interesting- One thing you should know about Mrs. Berry is that I am extremely competitive- and I expect all of you to do your best also! Well that is about all I have for now- I will update as life changes!
