About Me I have a B.S. degree in elementary education from Butler University. I have additional classes from St. Mary of the Woods, Marian College, IUPUI, and University of Indianapolis. I have been teaching second grade at St. Barnabas for twenty-three years. My husband, Greg, and I have been members of St. Barnabas Parish for over twenty-five years and we have both served on numerous committees. We have two children. Our daughter, Jordan, is married to Michael and our son, Adam, recently graduated from Purdue University. My hobbies include reading, walking, and more recently, bicycling. My Philosophy of Education I feel each child is unique. Children grow and develop in various ways. Children are enthusiastic learners and my job is to help each child succeed to the best of his/her ability. I believe challenging my students to do their best helps them to feel good about their accomplishments. Through hard work and positive reinforcement, each child will know he or she CAN learn and will grow to have a life-long love of learning.
