Thank you for all of the donations for Brown County!  We collected 84 items.

The students are regrouping in addition and subtraction.  We will still need to review.  Please continue to work on addition and subtraction facts.  There should be no counting on fingers.  They need to be mastered.  Next semester we will be working on multiplication facts.

We are reading some nonfiction selections.  Ask your student about the Olympics or turtles.  They should know some information to tell you.

We have been discussing our role in the Church.  We discuss what disciples of Jesus do today.

We are putting sentences together.  We will be writing directions. 

In social studies we are finding where we are on Earth by using a map and globe.  We are using a map key.  We will find a distance by using the map scale.  We will also find out what Indians lived in this area.

Progress reports go home on Nov. 17.  They may just go to students that have less than a B average in any subject at the midterm.
