My Background

I graduated from Fort Branch High School  and received a B.A. from Oakland City University.I graduated with a M.S. degree from Indiana State University and taught four years in southern Indiana before coming to St. Barnabas.

My Hobbies

I have many of them. I love to spend time with my family which includes four nieces and five nephews. I enjoy traveling, reading, skiing, and attending musical and sporting events.

Curriculum

In fourth grade religion class, students will focus on the goodness of God. They will learn about the ten commandments, the sacraments, and social justice.

In language arts, students will continue to develop their reading, spellling, writing, grammar, and research skills. They will reveiw phonics skills.

In math the multiplication and division facts will be mastered. There will also be emphasis on problem solving.

We will learn a lot about Indiana in social studies.

We will discover many things about the Earth in science.

My Philosophy of Education

I will provide a safe classroom environment where individual differences are accepted and positively encouraged. I want each child to achieve at his/her potential with the parents actively involved.
