Welcome to the 2014-15 school year!

The Island Trees PTSA has planned many exciting events for this year! We kick off the year with the Bulldog Vendor Fair and mini carnival set for September 20thth.  We invite you to shop, eat, and just have a good time. The PTSA will also be  holding the Scholastic book fair in the fall for the middle school as well as our picture days early in September and the NYS PTA’s Reflections competition for both schools

Additionally, this year we are introducing a new line of Bulldog clothing which can easily be purchased on an online web store. In November we will again have our Yankee Candle fundraiser and are introducing the Bulldog Cookbook! Families can submit their favorite recipes monthly and the completed book will be for sale in the spring in time for Mother’s Day. These fundraiser will help bring relevant cultural arts programs to the schools as well as help to pay for many events such as post prom, fifth and ninth grade welcome events, plant sale and scholarships for seniors.

Families should have received our welcome package by mail.  If you did not receive a package you can click on Welcome Package on the navigation bar to print it (picture forms are not included in the link and can be picked up at the school). Enclosed are many important items such as the membership application, the parent volunteer sheet, parent directory form for our weekly emails, school photo order form, and Bulldog clothing order form. Please complete them and return the items as soon as possible.

We hope that you will come out to support the PTSA in the coming year. Our next meeting will be October 28th at 7:00 at the middle school library. We look forward to seeing the new faces and welcoming backs the other. If you have any questions, please email us at
