                          RESPECT FOR MATERIALS AND USERS
Students must have a pass from a classroom teacher in order to use the LMC.  Students are expected to use LMC resources carefully, to study quietly, and to pick up after themselves.  Magazines and newspapers should be returned to the periodical display and/or main desk; however, books should not be reshelved by students.  Return books to main desk
Common rules of good behavior are enforced in the LMC.  Food and drink are not allowed in the LMC.  Students will sit properly on chairs, not on tables.  Rolling chairs will remain at the computers and are not to be moved to the tables.  Any noise or action which could be disturbing to others will result in a request for the student to leave the LMC.  Repeated problems will result in the loss of LMC privileges.

Any student who does not have overdue material or outstanding fines may check-out LMC materials.  Your photo ID card serves as your LMC card.  Bring this with you when you visit.
Most items may be checked-out for a period of at least two weeks with the date due usually on Wednesday.  Reference materials are due the following school day.  Back issues of magazines are checked out for a period of at least one week with the due date usually on Wednesday.
The LMC has a variety of materials available for individual overnight check-out, purchase or class use in the LMC.  These items include but are not limited to:  board games, colored pencils and markers, rulers, calculators, poster board, glue sticks.  Ask one of the LMC staff members if you need any of these items.  The LMC no longer sells 3.5” floppy computer disks.  CD-Rs are available for purchase.  It is highly recommended students purchase their own USB Flash Drive for back-up purposes.
