FALL BAND FUNDRAISER
Last week your student should have brought home a brochure from Mr. Z's Fundraising containing products we are selling for our Fall semester band fundraiser. Please help our program if at all possible by buying or selling at least one item from the brochure. As our program continues to grow and serve more students, it is important that each child have the necessary materials for a successful band experience. Below are the important dates for the fundraiser:
August 21, 2010 - Fundraiser Kick-Off
September 7, 2010 - Order form turn-in
October 5, 2010 - Frozen food pick-up (please arrange to pick up products between 1:00 and 5:00pm in the junior high band room)
Website, Handbook, Calendar Update (August 31, 2010)
The band website has now been fully updated for the 2010-2011 school year. This year's handbook as well as an updated calendar can be downloaded in .pdf format under their respective headings in the left hand navigation menu.
Please keep an eye on the mail in the coming days as our first band newsletter will be mailed out prior to labor day weekend. It is our hope to keep you informed about what your student is doing each day in class through this bi-monthly newsletter. if you prefer to read online, the newsletter will also be available for download in .pdf format.
