I am excited to work with all of you promising young ladies.

I will be working with Sacred Heart’s Wind Ensemble as well as teaching private lessons. I want to bring out the full potential of the Sacred Heart Wind Ensemble program, but I cannot do it without your help. Please consider taking private lessons in addition to playing in Wind Ensemble this school year, if you have not already signed up to do so.  Private lessons allow for more instruction that can be focused to each individual student’s current level, strengths and potential.  Also, those of you who may have left the Wind Ensemble, please consider coming back and giving it another try this year. I want to rejuvenate the band program and help this ensemble to excel.  With your help, support and participation, we can make sure that the band program is fun and successful this year.  If the additional cost of an instrumental lesson is a burden that is difficult for your family to take on, please know that there is financial aid available to help defray the cost for eligible students.

I also encourage any student who has an interest in instrumental instruction to sign up for private lessons.  I can work around your class schedule.  The school has limited instruments that can be borrowed, and as indicated above, some money has been set aside to help defray the cost of private lessons, if cost is an obstacle.  Music instruction will help you in many of your other studies and is a great life skill to develop.  You do not need any previous instrumental experience to avail yourself of private lessons.
