Opportunities for extra English support, 2008-2009

1.) AFTER SCHOOL TUTORIAL:

• In fall of 2008,  students will be able to take advantage of an after school tutorial program in English Language Arts. This program is designed to provide assistance to students struggling to meet standards or seeking extra assistance on homework completion.  A calendar of tutorial dates is posted below:

2.) SUPPORT THROUGHOUT THE DAY [LARC]:

• Everyday during the school year the LARC (Language Arts Resource Center) is available to students.  Students may use this resource during any free period for additional support.
• Teachers may assign students to the LARC if the teacher feels he/she could benefit from extra assistance with English assignments
• The LARC is supervised by a different English teacher for 9 periods of the day (all).
